The name was inspired by the lore of treasure hidden in the parish of Kilbrin.

Kilbrin is triple distilled, and made by blending rich malt whiskey, produced from malted barley.

The aroma is malted cereal, vanilla, juicy pear, oak, and cinnamon applesauce, with caramel on the backend. The sweet and creamy vanilla and malt
entry is joined by pear. It builds to a vanilla pear peak, and fades with malted cereal and mineral. The nish is warm, dry, and peppery, with licorice,
bittersweet citrus peel, and a long finish.
