The Red Hut 2024 Central Otago Pinot Noir 750ml is the latest release from Red Hut, a collaboration between New Zealand wine professionals Corey Ryan and Mike Farrugia. It is a single-vineyard wine made from grapes grown in the Lowburn sub-region of Central Otago.
Tasting notes and productionThe 2024 vintage was crafted from five different Pinot clones grown in a single vineyard.Aroma: The nose features lifted aromas of wild cherry, redcurrant, and dried thyme, along with rose petal and subtle oak spice. Wine writer Yvonne Lorkin also noted rhubarb and woodsmoke.Palate: The palate has vibrant red fruit and savory, earthy notes, framed by fine-grained tannins.
